Old Hilliardfest is hosted by the Hilliard Civic Association, a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. HCA obtained 501(c)3 status in March of 2018.
The annual Old Hilliardfest Art & Street Fair in September would not be possible without the generous support of local volunteers - there are no paid positions within the organization; the entire festival is staffed by volunteers.
Our volunteers have a variety of involvement with the festival. All of our board members are volunteers, and they're vary involved. But we also have volunteers that just help out the day of the event for just a couple of hours. Event-day volunteer duties range from helping vendors setup and strike their booths, watching a vendor's booth while they run to the restroom or to grab some food, distributing festival programs to attendees, helping attendees locate points of interest, and so on.
The Old Hilliardfest Executive Board would not be able to present such a festival without many hours of time dedicated to planning and execution by countless volunteers. Numerous individuals and organizations give up one day of their fall to bring you the annual Old Hilliardfest Art and Street Fair.
