Public Relations Internship

  • Position Title: Public Relations Intern
  • Position Type: Summer Internship
  • Location: Hilliard, Ohio
  • Job Description: Assist Public Relations Coordinator with various Public Relations duties: maintaining organization website and social media accounts, create press releases and communicate with media outlets, communicating with local businesses and organizations, attending regular Hilliardfest meetings and Destination Hilliard meetings, assisting with day-of-festival setup and strike, photographing day-of-festival activities throughout the day, and other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications: Must be a self-starter, be able to complete projects from start to finish, and work well in team situations. Must be a current university student or recent university graduate with a focus in a Public Relations or similar focus.
  • Hours: Must be available to provide a minimum of 10hrs per week. Hours are flexible. However, applicant must be able to attend Old Hilliardfest Board meetings and Destination Hilliard meetings and must be available all day the weekend of the festival to assist with the festival setup, operation, and strike; no exceptions.
  • Salary: This is an unpaid internship position.

Partnership & Sponsorship Internship

  • Position Title: Partnership & Sponsorship Intern
  • Position Type: Summer Internship
  • Location: Hilliard, Ohio
  • Job Description: Assist Partnership & Sponsorship Coordinator with various Partnership & Sponsorship duties: preparing and delivering partnership & sponsorship requests, communicating with local businesses and organizations about partnership and sponsorship participation, attending regular Hilliardfest meetings, assisting with day-of-festival setup and strike, assisting with day-of-festival activities throughout the day, and other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications: Must be a self-starter, be able to complete projects from start to finish, and work well in team situations. Must be a current university student or recent university graduate with a focus in a Public Relations or similar focus.

Vendor Coordinator Internship

  • Job Description: Assist Vendor Coordinator with various duties: receiving, organizing, and filing vendor applications; accounting for funds received with vendor applications; communicating with local businesses and organizations about vendor participation, attending regular Hilliardfest meetings, assisting with day-of-festival setup and strike, assisting with day-of-festival activities throughout the day, and other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications: Must be a self-starter, be able to complete projects from start to finish, and work well in team situations. Must be a current university student or recent university graduate with a focus in a Public Relations or similar focus.
