Who profits from Old Hilliardfest Beer Sales?

Old Hilliardfest makes no profit from the sale of beer at the event. Partnering organizations who staff the beer concessions during the event receive the profit from beer sales and any tips you may leave for them. Old Hilliardfest provides beer concessions as another option for festivalgoers, and as a fundraising opportunity for local non-profit groups.

Where can I consume alcohol purchased at Old Hilliardfest Beer Concessions?

The short answer, on public property within the signed area of the festival boundaries. Out of a respect for the memorial, this excludes First Responders Park. Click here for a map of the festival. Beer purchased from Old Hilliardfest Beer Concessions may not leave festival grounds and may not enter private property.

Where can I consume alcohol purchased in a Bar or Restaurant?

Old Hilliardfest is not a DORA (designated outdoor refreshment area) event, as such alcohol purchased at a bar or restaurant may not leave that respective bar or restaurant's property, this is state law, and you could be subject to an open container violation if spotted by law enforcement.
