A few words about the festival
The ThisWeek Community Newspaper referred to Old Hilliardfest as Hilliard's "Flagship Festival".
Old Hilliardfest is a street fair that takes place in downtown Hilliard, Ohio on Main Street each fall, the second Saturday in September. The main festival takes place from throughout the day, featuring live music, great food, kids games and jumpies, a sunflower show, a car show, an Kid's Fair, and of course, various local businesses and organizations.
The Street Fair portion of the festival takes place on Main Street in Old Hilliard, where various vendors line each side of the street, and each side of various intersecting streets. The core of the festival is located at Main Street and Center Street, extending towards Norwich and Madison on Main Street and towards the Makoy Center and next to First Responders Park on Center Street. We work with the city each year to ensure a clear traffic flow pattern around the festival on various side streets. Check out our map for more info.
The festival is hosted by the Hilliard Civic Association, which is a non-profit organization with 501(C)(3) tax status and does not receive any financial backing from the City of Hilliard. The organization is staffed completely with unpaid volunteers and operates only on the revenue generated by vendor booth fees and generous in-kind and cash donations from various local businesses, organizations, and individuals.

Within the Art Fair, the festival has an Arts & Crafts area for kids. Various interactive and educational activities are provided and most include a work of art that the kids are able to bring home with them afterwards.

The festival has three stages of amazing music that plays continuously throughout the day. The Main Stage features paid acts, the Community Stage features local talent, and the Art Fair Stage provides a nice ambiance to the Art Fair.
